Parenting Classes

Throughout the year La Raza offers parenting classes at our Center.  “Martes Familiares” runs for 2 cycles per year, 12 classes each cycle and 2 hrs per session (1hr and via ZOOM during COVID-19).  In these sessions, parents not only learn new skills about parenting, but also have the opportunity to share their experiences with other parents. During class, “child watch” is provided and snack for parents and children are served. During COVID-19, a Parent Leader works works in tandem with the teacher to provide activities for the children during parenting classes. Classes convene every Tuesday between 5-6PM.
