Leadership Development and Advocacy

Our program offers opportunities for parents to develop leadership and community engagement skills through workshops and informational community forums. The group is led by our family advocate. We also invite City leaders to do presentations. Our Parent Leaders are part of the BMR City Housing Program, teaching other parents how to apply for low income housing through DHALIA.  Parent Leaders also help us with outreach and registration, especially around Immigrant Parent Voting for the San Francisco School District.
